President & Owner, TCDBManagement Group, Inc.

With over four decades of experience in hospitality and operations management, Janice Montana brings a dynamic, results-oriented approach to leadership. As the President and Owner of TCDB Management Group, Inc., Janice oversees all administrative functions of the firm, ensuring seamless coordination across construction management, project oversight, and client services.

 

Janice leads a team of seasoned construction professionals, each with 30+ years of industry experience. She manages Owner’s Representation and Project Management services from predevelopment through final project closeout. Her coordination of responsibilities spans from gut rehabs, capital improvements, and Local Law 11 compliance, particularly within affordable, mid- and high-rise mixed-use developments across the NYC metro area.

 

Beyond construction oversight, Janice manages environmental remediation and restoration initiatives for lead, mold, and asbestos. 

 

Known for her meticulous recordkeeping, exceptional customer relations, and commitment to quality, Janice Montana continues to build lasting partnerships that drive successful outcomes across the real estate and construction landscape.

Director

Has over Thirty-five years of
experience in the construction and real estate development industry and is a former Director of Construction for a nationally known non-profit. He has also been an Owner’s rep and a senior program manager for several general contracting firms prior to the formation of TCDB.

Mr. Montana, a lifelong New Yorker, owned and operated a private GC firm for over twenty years in the NY metropolitan area. He has extensive experience working on Agency funded NYC, NYS and Federal projects to include, but not limited to, the Newark and New York Housing Authorities (NYCHA), School Construction Authority (SCA) NYC HPD, NYSHCR, Port Authority (PA)

Army Corps of Engineers, General Services Administration (GSA), and has completed projects on various U.S. Armed Forces Facilities on the East Coast. He has overseen countless gut rehabs, environmental remediation and restorations of mid-rise and high-rise properties owned and/or managed by multiple NYC real estate management firms in the Bronx, Far Rockaway and downtown Brooklyn. He has delivered projects ranging from complicated data centers, multi-family gut rehabs, ground up mid-rise new construction to HDC tenant-in-place capital improvements.

 

Mr. Montana is a Professional Project Manager (PMP) with solid field experience and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. He is currently Owner’s Rep. at Esplanade Gardens of their HDC Capital Improvement Work and a current member in good standing of PMI (Project Manager Institute). Mr. Montana is OSHA certified with various Construction Site Safety certifications. Mr. Montana also is a certified ACB (Advanced Communicator Bronze) with Toastmasters International.

Mazzurco

Director of
Safety Management

Has over Thirty-five years of experience in Construction Site Safety, Fire Safety and Environmental Services and currently is a consultant and trainer to many nationally known companies. Mr. Mazzurco is a former owner of a Safety/Training and Consulting firm for over twenty years before joining TCDB. He is responsible for training of all OSHA (29 CFR) regulatory compliance
courses such as Hazwoper, Confined Space, Lock-out Tag-out, Process Safety, First
Aid/CPR/Bloodborne Pathogens, Excavation, Scaffolding, OSHA Construction Outreach 10/30 Hour. He also can provide training for 40 and 49 CFR for EPA Resource
Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and DOT Docket 126F Hazardous Material
Training. He provides Gas detection services monitoring for hazardous conditions at
specific job sites, Site or facility inspections to ensure OSHA compliance. He authors
Company specific and site-specific safety manuals and HASPs (Health and Safety
Plans). He performs Workplace Safety & Loss Audits for clients, as per NYS Code Rule
59 and has performed work at United States Military Academy West Point NY since 1994.

He is a prior member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and a current
affiliate of the American Society of Concrete Construction.
